We’re looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our engineering efforts from MVP through scale. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future architecture, team, and delivery approach of a high-impact AI platform — from the ground up.

 

You will:

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team (5–10 by end of 2025)

• Own and evolve the technical architecture, infrastructure, and AI integration strategy

• Establish strong foundations for a secure, scalable, enterprise-grade SaaS product

• Be hands-on in the early phase, then grow into a strategic leadership role

• Make autonomous decisions on tooling, architecture, hiring, and delivery processes

• Work closely with the founder while independently driving technical direction

• Experienced in early-stage startup environments, ideally from MVP to growth

• Skilled at building and leading full-stack or cross-functional engineering teams

• Strong in scalable web architectures, cloud-native infrastructure, and developer operations

• Equally confident building systems yourself and scaling through others

• Comfortable in B2B or enterprise environments — experience with SaaS or procurement tech is a plus

• Based in Germany or a CET-friendly timezone; German fluency is a bonus

• A defining leadership role in a fast-moving, AI-native startup
